Review your responsibilities at home and at work and decide whether it is best for you to exercise before, during or after work hours.



Exercise done before or after work could be using a stationary bicycle while watching a favorite television show and exercise during work could be a brisk walk taken during your lunch break. No matter what decision you make, be sure to stay with it. To lose those 10 pounds, you need to think of this exercise as a part of your regular everyday routine, just like anything else you have on your schedule throughout an average day. Failing to incorporate exercise into your daily routine and keeping it as an additional thing for you to get done almost ensures that it will be the first thing you drop when you schedule is hectic.

Here is a dietary example to look at. You are going to drop those 10 pounds by cooking 3 new meals per week. Once again, you need to plan this and make it a part of your daily routine. Determine what days you will cook these meals and which days you will plan the meals and shop for them. Since most of us have the problem of never having time for anything, unless we make the time, it simply will not happen.

It is not as difficult as most people think it is to lose those 10 extra pounds. Be careful not to get overly caught up in the concept of diet and exercise. Although these are the fundamental tools for weight loss, diet and exercise can only work properly when they are effectively incorporated into your everyday routine.
